Dometic SeaStar ORB Hose Fittings Kit, Vertical Bleeder Tee (HF6001)
The Dometic SeaStar HF6001 is a two-piece stainless steel ORB hose fitting kit engineered for hydraulic marine steering systems. Compatible with -3 and -4 helms and cylinders produced from 1998 to present, these fittings replace the original Teleflex Marine and SeaStar Solutions hardware and are now distributed under the Dometic Marine brand. The fittings feature a vertical tee configuration with a nipple-to--5 ORB-to-3/8" tube design, and each kit includes a center bleeder valve for easy system bleeding and maintenance.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these fittings are built to withstand the harsh marine environment. They thread into cylinder and helm ports via positionable O-ring hose ports, allowing the installer to orient each fitting in any direction to best suit the tube routing on the vessel. This flexibility simplifies installation across a wide variety of boat configurations.
It is critical to use Dometic ORB hose fittings exclusively in -3 and -4 helms and cylinders. Using the incorrect fitting type can compromise system performance and safety. Each kit ships as a set of two fittings, providing everything needed to complete a standard single-helm installation.
