Dometic SeaStar Steering Kit
The Dometic SeaStar Steering Kit (HA5478-4) is a back-mount round bezel kit engineered for Gen 4 SeaStar standard front-mount helm installations requiring a recessed mounting configuration. By allowing the helm to sit deeper within the dash panel, this kit significantly reduces the amount the helm protrudes from the dash — from the original 6.1 inches all the way down to just 3.75 inches (95 mm), measured at the end of the wheel shaft. The result is a cleaner, lower-profile installation that improves the overall aesthetics and ergonomics of the helm station.
This is a new-style casing that replaces the older HA5417 part number. It is specifically designed for Gen 4 (-4 suffix) SeaStar front-mount helms and is not compatible with -3 or earlier SeaStar front-mount helm models. Sold exclusively through the Dometic dealer network.
