FIBERGLASS COATINGS Fiberglass Reinforced Polyurethane, 25 lb Density, 1/2" thick x 48" x 96"
Kay-Cel is a rigid, closed-cell, high-density polyurethane foam core panel engineered for superior structural performance in marine and industrial applications. The panel uses a sandwich construction with fiberglass reinforcements on both faces, providing exceptional mechanical properties while keeping weight to a minimum. Each sheet carries a 25 lb density rating and is reinforced with 18/15 oz Woven Roving fiberglass on both sides, making it an ideal core material for transoms, stringers, bulkheads, and other structural projects where strength and durability are critical.
The Kay-Cel RB25TD line is classified as marine grade and bonds well to both polyester and epoxy resin systems, giving fabricators flexibility in their laminating processes. The closed-cell, cross-linked polymer foam construction ensures the panel will not absorb water, eliminating the risk of moisture-related degradation that commonly affects wood-based cores over time.
