Glass-reinforced nylon Marelon® fittings are lighter than bronze and not subject to galvanic corrosion.
Marelon fittings like these Flush Head Cockpit Drains are designed for years of trouble-free service. They are extremely durable, strong and unlike heavier bronze fittings, not subject to galvanic corrosion. The flush design of these fittings (unlike the raised edge of mushroom head fittings) does not impede the flow of water into the drain. Available with or without strainer. Fits 1 1/2" hose ID. Threads are 1 1/2" diameter.
