The Furuno DRS2DNXT represents the next step in radar evolution, combining solid-state pulse compression technology with Doppler-based Target Analyzer™ and Fast Target Tracking™ in a compact 19-inch radome. Compatible with all generations of Furuno's NavNet TZtouch systems, it is well-suited for smaller vessels or as a capable backup radar that shares the same advanced feature set as larger NXT models.

The exclusive Target Analyzer™ function was a world first: echoes dynamically change color based on approach direction. Targets moving toward your vessel are highlighted in red, while stationary or retreating targets appear green. This color-coding works independently of your own vessel speed and the speed of target vessels, providing rapid situational awareness with minimal interpretation effort. Target Analyzer™ can significantly improve safety in congested or low-visibility conditions.

Fast Target Tracking™ allows any selected target to display its speed and course vector within seconds of selection. With Doppler technology continuously monitoring surrounding vessels, any craft approaching yours will automatically generate a target vector and can trigger an audible alarm, simplifying collision avoidance decisions and reducing reliance on manual ARPA input.

Furuno's exclusive RezBoost™ beam-sharpening technology, applied here for the first time in a radome radar, allows the DRS2DNXT to achieve the effective sharpness of a 2-degree beam width when set to MAX — dramatically improving target separation and coastal detail resolution for a 19-inch dome antenna. Additionally, a dedicated bird mode automatically adjusts radar settings to help locate flocks of birds, a valuable tool for fishing applications.
