The Harken 13 mm Athwartships Loop Car is a robust, soft-attach traveler car engineered for the 13 mm Micro traveler track system. Its athwartship attachment holes are specifically designed to keep up/down control lines running as close to the car body as possible, resulting in a cleaner, lower-profile rigging arrangement and more precise sail trim control.

This versatile car can also be configured as a mainsheet traveler car when mainsheet blocks must be oriented 90 degrees to the standard mounting arrangement used on part number 2703. It is equally well-suited for use as a conventional traveler car across a range of applications on small boats and dinghies.

The compatible 13 mm Micro track is available in both low-beam and high-beam configurations, and comes pre-drilled with holes to accept mounting fasteners for straightforward installation. The car body is compact, measuring 56 mm in length and 40 mm in width, with a car body height of just 19 mm, keeping the center of effort low and minimizing windage.

Despite its small size, the 13 mm Athwartships Loop Car delivers impressive strength: a maximum working load of 140 kg (310 lb) and a breaking load of 680 kg (1,500 lb), making it a reliable choice for demanding racing and performance sailing environments.
