The Harken 40mm Protexit™ Double Exit Block is the definitive solution for competitive sailors who demand durability and performance from their halyard exit hardware. Traditional exit blocks suffer from progressive wear caused by side-angle loading — a problem that Protexit™ technology eliminates entirely. The block's all-aluminum, wear-resistant housing carefully ushers line in and out regardless of the angle of loading, preserving both the block and the running rigging over the course of an entire racing season.

At the heart of the design, aluminum sheaves rotate on precision sleeve bearings complemented by Delrin® sideload balls. This combination ensures the sheaves do not deform even under the most extreme loads, while simultaneously reducing wear on the halyard itself.
