The Harken 75mm Ratchamatic® Block with Swivel and 1.5x Grip is part of the Power3 ratchet block system, purpose-built for sailors racing small one-design boats. Power3 blocks provide three distinct holding-power options, giving sailors the flexibility to fine-tune their setup in tandem with the purchase system for the ideal balance of power, responsiveness, and grip across varying wind and sea conditions.

As a Carbo Ratchamatic® block, this model features load-sensing ratchet technology that rolls freely in both directions under low loads and automatically engages as loads increase. Transitions between ratchet and light-air modes are smooth and seamless, requiring no manual adjustment. The on/off switch is accessible from both sides of the block for added convenience on the water.

The 1.5x grip setting is calibrated for breeze-on and puff conditions, providing 22:1 holding power to reduce hand fatigue during active sailing. The swivel top allows the block to align freely with the load, minimizing friction and wear on the line. Constructed from carbo composite materials, the block is robust yet lightweight, well-suited for the demands of competitive one-design racing.
