The Harken 18mm Fly Soft Attach Triple Block is a compact, ultra-lightweight rigging component designed to provide big power in a low-aero package. Built around Harken's Fly block technology, it delivers an incredible working load relative to its small size, making it the ideal choice for high-performance sailing applications where every gram and every millimeter of drag matters.

Engineered specifically for modern high-tech lines, the 18mm Fly Triple features an integrated stainless-steel inner race and rivet along with stainless steel ball bearings for smooth, reliable, low-friction performance under load. Composite fiber-reinforced sideplates add durability without sacrificing weight savings, making this block well suited for performance dinghies, foiling boats, sportboats, and grand prix racing rigs.

The triple sheave configuration incorporates composite line guides that are integrated directly into the block head. These guides keep the block aligned correctly by pushing the lashing line to the outer edges of the block's head, improving efficiency and reducing friction in multi-line systems such as vang cascades and backstay purchase systems.

Beyond sailing, the triple block is increasingly gaining traction as a high-performance sport fishing tool. It is commonly placed on the inside end of an outrigger to guide halyards for trolling, bringing the same strength-to-weight advantages to demanding fishing applications.
