The Harken 5T V Sheave (Part No. 3357) is a premium high-load titanium sheave engineered to deliver exceptional efficiency in the most demanding sailing environments. Drawing on the same bearing technology found in Harken's acclaimed V blocks, it employs a set of precision-angled titanium rollers that minimize friction and maximize load transfer under heavy loads.

Designed with versatility in mind, the 5T V Sheave is equally at home routing lines underdeck, functioning within mainsheet and spinnaker sheet systems, or serving as part of a drop line arrangement. It is particularly well-suited for constructing clean backstay systems that help stabilize today's increasingly slender masts and allow precise adjustment of mast bend — a critical factor in optimizing sail shape and boat performance.

Maintenance is straightforward thanks to snap-fit Delrin® side covers that require no tools to remove, making routine inspection and servicing quick and convenient even in the field. Delrin® is a registered trademark of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company or its affiliates.

With a maximum working load of 5,000 kg (11,000 lb) and a breaking load of 10,000 kg (22,000 lb), the 5T V Sheave is built to handle the extreme loads encountered in offshore racing, bluewater cruising, and performance sailing. The sheave diameter of 62 mm (2 7/16 in) and a maximum line diameter of 13 mm (1/2 in) make it compatible with a wide range of modern high-performance lines. The compact 24 mm width and 22.67 mm center pin diameter allow for clean, low-profile installation in tight spaces.
