The Unit 3 MKIV Ocean Foil Connector Set is a precision-engineered spare part for the MKIV Ocean Unit 3 jib furling system. MKIV Ocean furling systems are designed specifically for cruisers and are engineered for strength, longevity, and ease of use. These free-rolling furlers make a significant difference in headsail control by allowing cruisers to furl and reef from the safety of the cockpit while maintaining great sail shape.
The connector set is constructed from hardcoat-anodized aluminum, providing UV-stabilized durability for extended marine service. The MKIV Ocean systems feature multiple rows of Torlon® ball bearings to minimize friction and reduce the physical effort required when pulling the furling line. The bearings require no lubrication for easy maintenance, and the system features a single groove foil design.
