The Lofrans Tigres is one of the most popular horizontal anchor windlasses in the world, trusted by sailors and powerboaters from 36 to 49 feet for its exceptional performance and durability. The Tigres features a 1500W reversing motor, a top-mounted snubbing cleat, standard manual overdrive, all-chain retrieval, and an oil-level window for convenient maintenance checks—features that set it apart from competitors.
This 24V version (LW415AN/1) is fitted with a 3/8-inch proof-coil (PC) gypsy for use with standard proof-coil chain. Charter operators select the Tigres for its trouble-free design and long service life.
Standard equipment includes a watertight control box, two (2) footswitches, chainwheel, and manual override handle. The anodized marine-grade aluminum body provides excellent corrosion resistance.
