The Muir Storm SS850 is a compact vertical rope/chain windlass with capstan, constructed entirely from 316 stainless steel. Rated at 800W on 12V, this windlass suits vessels in the 28–38-foot range and handles 5/16-inch High-Test chain.
The capstan provides additional line-hauling capability for mooring and dockside operations. QuickFit gearbox coupler for easy deck installation.
Standard equipment: watertight solenoid box, two footswitches, RCMS, and clutch handle. Made in Australia.
