For safety and convenience, every hatch lift includes two clevis pins on the mounting brackets. In the event of a power failure, these allow for manual operation. To make access even easier, consider pairing your system with the Lenco Hatch Lift Slide Bracket (VPN #70381-001; WM #11035722), which provides a simple way to release the pin from outside the hatch.
