Lewmar's Gen2 range of thruster controls provides a superior tactile control experience for single thruster installations. The ergonomic control pad delivers clear tactile feedback, making it easy to operate with precision even in challenging marine conditions. The controller is designed for all Lewmar TT, RT, SRT, and VRT thrusters fitted with a blue box, and can also be fitted to thrusters equipped with a black box using a controller adapter.

Installation is straightforward — no rear access is required. A snap-on bezel neatly hides mounting screws, and the panel fits directly into the existing cutout of previous-generation Lewmar joystick, touch panel, and dual joystick panels, reusing existing mounting holes and fixing screw positions. A removable cover is included, providing additional security against accidental use and offering extra environmental protection.

The membrane switch panel is fully sealed against dust and moisture ingress, ensuring reliable performance in demanding marine environments. A multi-function LED indicator keeps operators informed of system deployment, thruster operation status, low voltage conditions, motor temperature warnings, and any fault conditions. The 12-24V dual voltage supply ensures compatibility across a wide range of marine electrical systems.

An upgrade kit is also available separately, allowing installation of single or dual controllers into a thruster system that currently uses previous-generation controllers.
