The Lewmar stainless steel Delta anchor offers top-performance and has a narrow shank profile for deep penetration, utilizing the lead ballast within the tip of the anchor to achieve the perfect center of gravity for the initial bite and holding reliability. Manufactured from high-grade 316/2205 duplex stainless steel, this one-piece anchor design combines superior corrosion resistance and higher strength compared to standard stainless steels such as 304 or 316.
Its unique shank profile and ballasted tip make the Delta anchor self-launching. The low center of gravity and self-righting geometry ensure that the Delta anchor will set immediately when it hits the bottom, for quick anchoring without dragging. The anchor is balanced to fall unaided from bow rollers, making it ideal for use with remote-operated windlasses.
