Lewmar Hatch Plastic Trim and Screen Kits offer a simple and stylish solution for finishing hatch installations inside your boat cabin. Crafted from durable ABS plastic with a clean white leatherette finish, these trim kits include a hinged and removable aluminum fly screen to keep mosquitoes and other insects out while allowing easy access to hatch latches. The hinged screen pivots smoothly, and with just two tabs undone, it swings down without falling out, or it can be entirely removed and stored if needed. Designed to fit a wide range of Lewmar Low and Medium Profile Hatches, the trim flange can be cut to accommodate deck thicknesses up to 2-7/16 inches, and up to 2-13/16 inches for Flanged Ocean Hatches. Retrofit screens and hinges are available by special order for installations that don’t already include a screen. These trim kits provide a polished, professional finish to your hatch installation and are easy to clean; however, they require a headliner and are not compatible with flat-base Ocean Hatches. Complete with trim fasteners and screen retainers, they provide both function and style for any cabin hatch upgrade.
