The MIT 100 Automatic Inflatable PFD with 500 Denier Cordura® outer shell is used to increase durability.
The waist belt adjusts to accommodate outer layers, while large arm cutouts allow easy mobility. It automatically deploys when submerged, and a manual inflation cord allows the wearer to inflate it without submersion. The inflated bladder displays high visibility reflectivity and delivers approximately 28 lb of buoyancy. A 1-fold design makes repacking efficient, and the inflator inspection window and access flap enable convenient safety checks.
