They are thermoformed from acrylic-capped ABS plastic to provide excellent structural rigidity and UV stability. All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system that provides an excellent watertight seal. InstrumentPods protect cables and connections from water intrusion and UV exposure, and prevent snagged cables to assure the reliability and longevity of your marine electronics. All NavPods come with a security wrench and Nickel Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel tamper-resistant screws for enhanced security and an attractive finish.
Your marine electronics displays are easily surface mounted into the pre-cut face of the InstrumentPod. Cutouts vary for different display models, so please make sure the exact display model you are installing is listed as compatible (contact NavPod for guidance if you're unsure).
