RailMount Un-Cut (Usable Face = 4.5"W x 4.5"H)

NavPods are better than bracket mounting. Sturdy and secure, yet clean and attractive, RailMount NavPods are the smart solution for mounting your marine display at the helm where you can easily operate the controls and clearly see the fine details on the screen.

NavPods are made to protect your marine electronics from the harshest boating conditions. They are thermoformed from acrylic-capped ABS plastic to provide excellent structural rigidity and UV stability. All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system that provides an excellent watertight seal. SailPods protect cables and connections from water intrusion and UV exposure, and prevent snagged cables to assure the reliability and longevity of your marine electronics. All NavPods come with a security wrench and Nickel Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel tamper-resistant screws for enhanced security and an attractive finish.

RailMount NavPods can be mounted to a vertical rail or tube of 1”, 1.125”, or 1.25” diameter. This RailMount model can be mounted on either the port or starboard side. The display is positioned at a fixed 27.5-degree viewing angle, and the upper housing can rotate left or right 180 degrees for easy viewing while sitting under the dodger on a rainy day. All wiring runs internally from the housing, down the center of the Stainless Steel arm, and into the pedestal guard. The available space is 0.75" inside the narrowest part of the arm, so keep this in mind for planning your cable run; most transducer cables will not fit through the arm. This application provides a clean and sturdy installation for electronics without replacement of the pedestal guard.

Check to make sure your electronics will fit into the usable face area listed for this un-cut NavPod, as well the interior space of the housing (contact NavPod to confirm if you are unsure). A rotary tool (like a RotoZip or Dremel) is recommended for cutting the NavPod face to mount your display(s). We also offer pre-cut NavPod models for almost all displays made by major marine electronics manufacturers.

NavPod backs up their commitment to quality by offering a 10-year warranty on all Gen3 NavPods.
