Protecting your electrical connections is an absolute must, especially when dealing with marine environments. Pacer's DT housing packs are built for just that. DT housing packs can be used to create environmentally sealed electrical connections. DT series connectors are known for their abrasion, impact, and moisture resistance as well as their ability to provide reliability and performance at a low cost. Additionally, when used properly, they are waterproof and resistant to vibration and shock.
Each Pacer DT housing pack comes with housing bodies and wedge locks that, when used with the correct terminals (pins and sockets), create environmentally sealed, field serviceable connections. The housing body is made from plastic reinforced with glass fiber to handle the toughest marine conditions. The included wedge locks are designed to ensure contact alignment and retention. Each housing pack is available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 position combinations. This makes them suitable for multiple marine applications when the highest level of circuit protection is required.
DT series housing packs provide excellent electrical properties and weather resistance while being easy to install. They are built around the ideas of field serviceability, longevity, and reliability. Pacer's DT series housing packs can be found in applications that require a high level of environmental protection coupled with longevity.
DT series connectors are built for use with 20-14 AWG applications and handle size 16 contacts (20-14 AWG). Each circuit can handle 13 amps of continuous power and is rated at 250 volts AC. Pacer's Deutsch housing packs are built to handle operating temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C. All Pacer DT series housing packs meet or exceed IP67, RoHS, and UL-94 compliances.
