The 12-foot Carolina kayak has a V-shaped hull with soft chines designed for acceleration, speed and stability. With length comes roomy storage: at both bow and stern, the Carolina features on-top bungee-secured spaces and inside hatches. With all the storage space and travel speed, it makes it the ideal touring kayak to take on lengthy day trips or overnight adventures.
The sit-inside design features a Zone DLX Seating System™, a comfortably cushioned ergonomic design that eliminates hard pressure points on the body, and an adjustable backrest to cater to all heights. Stern and bow dry hatches provide access storage areas. Bungee deck rigging allows you to secure items on top of the stern and bow. A reflective static perimeter safety line helps your visibility in addition to allowing for easy grasp or tie down. Brace your feet for more leverage and maximum paddling effort by adjusting the Keepers Foot Brace System™ to personal leg length. Rest your knees or thighs comfortably against the cockpit side padding. Soft touch carrier handles are located at either end making it a cinch to carry or drag as well as tie down.
