Docking under pressure is where equipment earns its keep. The Plastimo Bumper dock fender mounts permanently to the pontoon to deliver reliable, consistent protection whether you're coming in shorthanded, singlehanded, or fighting a stiff crosswind. At 250 x 900 mm (9-4/5" diameter x 35.4" long), this 3/4 standard model provides substantial coverage at the bow or amidships, depending on placement, and its rotomoulded PVC construction delivers 150 mm of thickness in the critical impact zone for solid energy absorption on every approach. UV-ray-protected material keeps the white finish looking clean and resists sun degradation season after season, with a maximum operating pressure of 0.10 bar / 1.45 psi.

Installation is where the Bumper sets itself apart. The patented no-drill fixing system fits virtually any pontoon or catway profile, square-ended or round-ended, without cutting into dock infrastructure. The mounting position can be adjusted from 40 to 120 mm from the pontoon edge to precisely suit different dock configurations. For marinas with aluminum dock grooves, stainless steel dock-bolting kits are available separately in a 1-kit pack (ref. 64014) or 4-kit pack (ref. 65843), using T-shaped stainless steel bolts with locknuts and extra-large washers. Two to three kits are recommended per Bumper. Harbors that do not permit screw fixings can use optional fastening clamps (ref. 36663), and an optional docking pole (ref. 29640, 111 cm) is also available for the Bumper range.
