The Quicksilver 898235A01 Engine Flush Kit is a genuine OEM MerCruiser solution engineered to provide a thorough and complete flush of raw water-cooled engine components. Unlike a basic garden-hose flush, this kit allows you to flush the engine while it is running, ensuring that salt, minerals, and debris are purged from the entire raw water cooling circuit — not just the intake. Regular use of this kit is an essential part of MerCruiser maintenance, helping to prevent corrosion and extend the service life of your engine's cooling system.

The kit is compatible with 1988 and newer sterndrive and inboard 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 6.2L non-EC (non-emissions-controlled) engines equipped with Bravo drives. It also fits 1988–2001 sterndrive and inboard 7.4L and 8.2L non-EC engines with Bravo drives. Additionally, the kit is suitable for MCM V-6 and V-8 engines (305, 350, 377, 454, and 502 cid) in 1988 and newer non-EC configurations with Bravo drives and MIEs.
