Revere USCG Compact Liferaft
The Revere USCG Compact Liferaft is a robust design developed from a product that has been used by the military for more than 15 years. The liferaft is capable of reliable performance in the harshest of conditions. Offering 40% space reduction over the cylindrical equivalent, it is ideal for vessels with a drop height of up to 18 meters. The compact canister container makes it easy to stow aboard vessels where space is at a premium, without sacrificing any of the safety features demanded by USCG and SOLAS A certification.
The 6-person variant (Part Number 290010) measures 31 x 22 x 13 inches and weighs 143 lbs. It is deployed via throw-over launch and is designed for horizontal deck mounting with an optional stainless steel/galvanised cradle available on special order. The LALIZAS Hydrostatic Release Unit (HRU), available as an accessory, is SOLAS/MED/USCG-MER and TC approved and automatically activates at a depth of 1.5 to 4 meters to release and inflate the liferaft from a sinking vessel. The HRU requires no maintenance and must be replaced after 2 years onboard or 4 years from manufacture.
The complete product family is available in 6, 8, 10, 12, and 16-person configurations, all certified USCG/SOLAS A.
