Seipel Marine has launched a new robust product category of high-end industrial strength dock lines. These dock lines come in multiple sizes and lengths suitable for all types of applications in the marine boating industry. The SM 1/2in Dock Line is engineered to meet the demands of serious boaters who require reliable, high-performance lines that hold up under repeated use and harsh marine conditions.
Built around a 24-strand nylon core and wrapped in a heavy-duty marine-grade woven outer rope, these lines combine flexibility with exceptional strength. The double-braided construction provides a tensile strength of 4,850 pounds (2,199.43 kg) for the 1/2-inch diameter, making them suitable for a wide range of vessel sizes and docking situations. Melted wrapped ends on each line prevent fraying and ensure long-term durability without the need for additional finishing. The rope retains full strength even when wet and resists UV degradation for extended outdoor use.
Each line features a pre-formed 10-inch (25.4 cm) loop on one end for quick attachment to dock cleats or boat fittings. The opposite end is finished cleanly for easy handling and storage.
