Style 396-1-AIS is a center-fed, 1/2-wave, coaxial sleeve VHF marine antenna of 4' overall length.
The 396-1-AIS has been specially designed to meet the broader bandwidth requirements of all popular AIS transceivers. Commercial-grade one-section construction with brass and copper elements, an SO-239 connector at the base, U-bolts included for mounting and an aluminum mast mounting sleeve.
Connect the antenna to your AIS-enabled equipment with 50-ohm low-loss coax cable with PL-259 connectors on each end (each sold separately). Route the cable as far as possible from other electrical equipment and cables.
