Extra corrosion resistance for Mercury fuel filters installed in harsh environments
Sierra parts are engineered to meet or exceed the specifications of marine engine manufacturers and have gained the confidence of the marine industry. This Filter head is an example of Sierra improving on an OEM part. The stainless steel construction provides added corrosion and fuel resistance compared to a coated aluminum head originally installed. Similar bolt hole pattern makes installation straight forward. A 21 micron fuel filter (Sierra p/n 18-7845) and two brass plugs to seal unused ports are included to complete the kit.
