Fast-acting, ATM Style blade fuses open quickly to protect circuits from overloads and short circuits.
It's a good idea to keep several spares of the most popular sizes of Sierra ATM Style Fuses on board to replace blown fuses while out on the water. ATM (or mini) fuses have a fuse element that is enclosed for protection against shocks and sparks, plus corrosion resistance for longer life. Blade type fuses can be mounted in fuse blocks, in-line fuse holders or fuse clips. These fuses are color coded for amperage rating identification.
