Many Taco rub rails are designed to accept an insert to absorb impacts, cover up the screw heads and add a contrasting color. These inserts are the first point of contact with docks, boats, pilings, etc. and often show the ware. Fortunately, replacement inserts are available to restore the clean look your rub rail once had. This Black flexible vinyl insert features tabs that lock into the extrusion of Taco V21-9678 and V21-9795 rigid rub rails and comes in a 70' continuous length. For most boats the longer section will allow you to replace the entire insert with a single piece. Installation can be made easier by heating the insert in a tub of hot water or with a heat-box. Restore the clean look the rub rail once had by replacing the flexible vinyl insert.
