Automatic Inflation

Intended for inshore use, this life jacket is designed to automatically inflate and supply 15.5 pounds of buoyancy when immersed in water. For inflation to occur, the dissolvable bobbin contained within the inflation mechanism must be completely immersed in water. Unintended inflation due to rain or humidity is not a problem. These versatile life jackets easily convert to manual inflation by pulling the attached T-cord.

You will want to visually inspect your life jacket for leaks or tears every few months and service the automatic inflator every two years.  Rearm your life jacket with an Inflatable PFD Rearming Kit (sold separately).

The Inshore’s design minimizes bulk so it fits well over your rash guard or offshore jacket and the wide neckline won’t hinder your movement.
