When your engine's oil sump drain plug is buried behind brackets, hoses, or a tight bilge, this manual oil extractor lets you change your oil without ever having to reach the drain plug. Insert the extension tube into the dipstick tube, pump the cylinder up to 15 times to build a vacuum, and let the pump pull used oil out through the top.
Because it draws fluid by vacuum rather than gravity, this extractor works on engines mounted at odd angles or in cramped engine compartments, and it pulls both warm and cold oil with equal ease. Each extraction holds up to 6.9 quarts (6.5 liters), enough for most single-engine oil changes, and the kit arrives ready to use with a foot brace, two extraction hoses, an extension tube, and a garden hose adaptor.
