The PRU-3 is rated for engines up to 6 HP, so you can add a small outboard for effortless cruising, and the marine plywood transom is built to carry that load securely. When it's time to pack up, the boat breaks down to a compact 3'3" x 1'11" x 11" and weighs just 53 pounds, light enough for one person to handle and stow in a car trunk, garage, or boat locker.
