The Fendertex S60 Spherical Fender is an innovative inflatable textile fender engineered for larger vessels and precision docking situations. Unlike conventional rubber or PVC fenders that are heavy, bulky, and difficult to store, the S60 is constructed from a one-piece knitted high-tech polyester outer shell paired with a highly elastic welded polyurethane inner bladder. The result is a fender that is up to 95% lighter than PVC equivalents and can be quickly deflated and rolled for compact stowage — reducing to approximately 50% of its inflated size.

The spherical shape makes the S60 an ideal hand-held fender during docking maneuvers due to its wide profile, while also serving as a standard side fender on larger yachts and vessels. Its patented salt-resistant knit construction prevents salt absorption and micro-scratches on hull paint and gelcoat. The outer shell yarn is mass-dyed, providing outstanding resistance to UV degradation and color fading over time. The fender automatically adapts to temperature fluctuations, maintaining consistent inflation pressure under varying environmental conditions.

The independent polyurethane inner bladder can be replaced in the event of a puncture, extending the life of the fender. Water can be added to the bladder to act as ballast for additional stability. The fender is easy to clean — simply rinse with fresh water or machine wash at 40°C.
