The Fendertex C62 Cylindrical Fender reimagines the classic cylindrical fender shape with advanced textile construction that dramatically outperforms traditional rubber or plastic alternatives. Made in France, this fender features a 100% polyester high- and low-tenacity mass-dyed yarn outer shell formed through a seamless tubular knit process, eliminating the weak points found in sewn or welded fabric constructions. The outer shell is paired with a highly elastic polyurethane inner bladder joined by high-frequency welding for a secure, marine-rated seal. The fender maintains a constant operating pressure of approximately 5.1 psi (350 mbar) and can automatically adapt to air volume changes caused by temperature swings.

At just 1.4 lbs, the C62 is dramatically lighter than conventional PVC fenders—up to 95% lighter—and deflates and rolls to a fraction of its inflated size for easy stowage in a locker. The fender can be positioned vertically or horizontally and can be inflated and deflated quickly using the secure empty-fast valve. If needed, water can be added to the inner bladder to serve as ballast. The polyurethane inner bladder is independent of the textile outer shell, meaning it can be replaced independently in the event of a puncture.

The outer shell does not absorb salt, preventing micro-scratches on the hull and topside paint. Cleaning is simple—rinse with fresh water or machine-wash at 40°C. The mass-dyed yarn ensures deep, long-lasting color that resists UV degradation and fading over time.
