Fendertex® is the only manufacturer of inflatable textile fenders for the yachting market. The C124 is the brand's mid-large cylindrical offering, measuring 47 inches in height and 14 inches in diameter—suitable for vessels ranging from 23 to 328 feet. Its innovative construction replaces the heavy, bulky rubber or PVC fenders of the past with a high-tech knitted polyester textile outer shell and a welded polyurethane inner bladder, resulting in a fender that is up to 95% lighter than conventional PVC alternatives and compresses down to save up to 50% of typical storage space.

The outer shell is knitted in one piece and features a patented salt-resistant weave that actively limits abrasion on the hull and gelcoat. Because the shell is dyed in mass rather than surface-coated, it offers outstanding resistance to UV degradation and color fading. The bladder is highly elastic, automatically adapting to temperature fluctuations to maintain consistent inflation pressure. Water can also be added to the bladder to serve as ballast. The textile cover is easy to clean with fresh water or in a standard washing machine.

Two 316 stainless steel D-rings are located at the top of the fender, and a suspension strap sewn in a cross configuration adds strength. A retention strap prevents deformation of the collar during compression. The fender can be positioned vertically or horizontally, though the lower loop is intended for temporary use only. All cylindrical fender models C84 and larger must use the Long Side Cover accessory when hung horizontally.
