The V2 windlass is compatible with 5/16" G4 high-tensile chain and 8 mm DIN 766 chain, as well as 9/16" (14 mm) three-strand or 8-plait nylon rode. Maximum pulling power reaches approximately 1000 lb, with a normal retrieval speed of 79 ft/min. Operating current draw is approximately 50 amps under normal conditions, with a 70-amp circuit breaker recommended for installation. The complete assembly weighs approximately 42 lbs and is designed for straightforward deck mounting on fiberglass or metal hulls.
