This base, brace and backing plate work with Schaefer's stanchions (sold separately) that are available in 24" or 26" heights.
Fits Schaefer 36-07, 36-08, 36-17 and 36-18 stanchions.
- Rugged stainless base is canted 5° inboard to match most deck cambers. 5/16" welded rod reinforcement doubles as a bail for attaching snatch blocks, or control blocks for your roller furling, etc. Length: 5 1/8"; Width: 2 3/4"; Depth: 1". Requires four 1/4" fasteners, plus backing plate (sold separately). Weight: 14 oz. (397g).
- The gate brace mounts midway on the stanchion and has a welded base canted 60° for extra support at gate openings. 20 7/8" long, made from 3/8" rod stock. Weighs 12 oz. (340g).
- Backing Plate fits under the deck, for a secure and strong attachment.
