Built for large commercial and workboat propeller shafts, the Sea Shield Marine LC-3000-W/A is a zinc limited clearance collar anode engineered to fit 3" diameter shafts. When a standard streamline collar is too long to fit between the keel or strut and the propeller, limited clearance collars like this one provide the solution—delivering maximum shaft contact and full cathodic protection without the length penalty. With an outside diameter of 5", a width of 1-1/2", and a weight of 4.2 lbs, this anode provides substantial sacrificial mass suited for larger vessels with demanding duty cycles.
Conforming to military specification MIL-A-18001, the zinc alloy is formulated for salt water protection. The captive Allen Head fastener system, with threads tapped directly into the anode body, eliminates cross-threading and galling during installation—critical when working in difficult underwater environments. Integrated lock washers prevent loosening under vibration.
The included Allen wrench ensures a complete, ready-to-use package. Precision die-cast in California, USA, with internal and external size markings for easy identification. Replace when approximately half the anode material has been consumed.
