Replacement cables for discontinued "The Rack" system helms made from 1984-1997.
Single-station cable assembly, for power-assisted sterndrives or single nonpower-assisted outboards. Fits "The Rack" systems made from 1984 to 1997. Connects to engines with ABYC standard tilt tubes, using the OEM's link arm.
Since the cost of replacing an entire system compared to the cable alone is moderate, we suggest a complete steering system upgrade to either a SS141XX or SS151XX kit. However, if you are comfortable with the condition of your old helm and wish to forgo the additional cost, we offer these cables as replacements.
