M86 rack and pinion steering cables are compatible with a variety of helms.
Recommended for outboard boats to 30' or inboards to 35'. With armor-wrapped stainless steel core for maximum efficiency and minimal lost motion.
Compatible with the following helms:
- UFLEX G86-G88NR, G96-G98NR
- Morse Command 200
- SeaStar “The Rack” SSC-124
- Will not work with dual-cable helms
How to measure for steering cables
If you have your old steering cable, determine the length as follows:
Measure the cable's outer sleeve from mounting point to mounting point, add 22" and round up to the closest foot.
