The Wakespeed WSPH-VAN Positive Van Wiring Harness is an essential accessory for anyone integrating the Wakespeed WS500 Pro external alternator regulator into a van or specialty vehicle build. Engineered specifically for positively excited (P-type) alternators, this harness provides the critical electrical connection between the alternator and the regulator, enabling precise monitoring, communication, and control of your vehicle's charging system.

Unlike the shorter Standard Positive Harness designed for marine installations where components are in close proximity, the Van Harness is purpose-built for van conversions. In a typical van build, the Wakespeed regulator is co-located with the battery bank in the rear of the vehicle while the alternator remains up front in the engine compartment. The extended harness length of approximately 26–27 feet bridges this gap reliably, ensuring a clean and complete installation without the need for additional extensions or improvised wiring runs.

This harness does not include a temperature sensor. If temperature monitoring of the alternator or battery is required, a separate Wakespeed thermistor sensor (such as the WS.3MTHERM or WSTHREEMTHERM) must be purchased. The WSPH-VAN is sold as a single unit and is intended to be paired with the Wakespeed WS500 Pro regulator, which is sold separately.
