This connector is used to join foil sections on the headstay system for larger installations requiring extended foil lengths. The connector measures 7 inches (178 mm) in length and is constructed from aluminum with plastic bushings that mate securely to create connections between foil sections.
The connector comes equipped with 2 halves of bushings (top and bottom) and 4 foil screws for assembly. Installation is performed by attaching the connector to the stay with foil clamp screws using red Loctite adhesive, which is required for a secure assembly and can be ordered separately or included with the system package. This component is sold separately as part of the foil assembly components and is essential for systems requiring additional foil sections beyond the standard unit configuration.
