The Unit 2 Forked Tack Swivel Terminal is a precision component engineered for the Harken Reflex furling system, a quick-release modular solution that allows a single drive unit to handle multiple sails. This tack swivel terminal features a low-friction ball bearing design that enables the upper part of the sail to furl first, optimizing furling performance and sail control.
The forked interface design accommodates sails with existing torsion cables finished with eyes, allowing seamless adaptation to Reflex furling systems. Head and tack swivels are permanently fitted to each sail, ensuring reliable connections. The rolled sail disconnects effortlessly with a single pull of the spring-loaded pin, and the new furled sail slides and locks securely into the T-slot for quick sail changes during operation.
