The Lewmar Atlantic Portlight combines clean offshore styling with proven engineering for demanding marine environments. The inner and outer frames are manufactured from aluminium extrusion that has been deep anodised for maximum corrosion resistance, providing a durable silver finish. The smoke grey acrylic lens is bonded into the alloy frame for added stiffness, and the overall profile measures 200 mm wide by 600 mm long with a 6 mm flange height.

Quick-action handles apply uniform clamping pressure onto the seal in the closed position and are specifically designed so they cannot vibrate open underway. Lewmar's friction hinges allow the portlight to be held open at a variety of positions without knobs, stays, or straps, and all hinge components are fully corrosion-free. The outer frame geometry channels water drainage away from the hull interior even when fitted to an angled coachroof side.

A flyscreen made from nylon mesh with a moulded clip-on frame is supplied as standard and can remain in place even when the portlight is closed. Installation requires a flat mounting surface with a maximum tolerance of ±1 mm, and the portlight comes complete with fastenings. Opening angle is 165° at 21 mm hull thickness and 115° at 24 mm hull thickness. All portlights except sizes 10, 30 & 32 (thin valance, opening) and 30 (thick valance, opening) are made to order. The thick valance version suits hull thicknesses of 16–24 mm.
