Star Brite Winter Safe -50°F Propylene Glycol Antifreeze, 275-Gallon Bulk Tote

Winterize an entire fleet without running out mid-season. This 275-gallon tote of Star Brite's Winter Safe -50°F antifreeze delivers ready-to-use, non-toxic propylene glycol protection in bulk quantity, built for boatyards, marinas, RV dealerships, and service departments that need to winterize large numbers of boats, RVs, and water systems each fall.

The pre-mixed formula provides burst protection down to -50°F for engine cooling systems and potable water systems alike, so one product covers both jobs. A corrosion-inhibitor package helps protect aluminum, copper, brass, and other metal components from rust, while the formula is safe for copper, brass, and all types of plastic plumbing and fittings, making it compatible with the wide range of materials found across different boats and RVs.

Because it's ready to use straight from the tote, with no dilution required, crews can move from unit to unit without mixing or measuring, which matters when the goal is to get through a full winterization schedule efficiently.

How to Winterize Water Systems

Drain the water system as completely as possible by opening all hot and cold valves and outlets, then use compressed air to blow out any remaining water. Drain the hot water tank and leave the petcock open. Bypass the hot water tank by disconnecting its inlet and outlet lines and joining them directly with fittings or hose and clamps. Add the antifreeze to the potable water system and pressurize to distribute it evenly through all lines.
