      Comments about Ancor Wire Stripper:

I am disappointed in the quality of this tool. It is not the cheapest one on the shelf, so I was expecting professional grade. It is not. The rubber handles slip off every time I use it. The wire stripper is not very sharp and stretches the insulation quite a bit before it tears it off. And the crimping is very awkward. Crimping is on the inside of the mechanism, and it is really hard to see what you are doing in tight spaces. It is hard to tell exactly what they have in mind for crimping. It is a series of bumps in the handle that are not well defined.

      Comments about Ancor Wire Stripper:

This is an excellent tool. To strip wire of any guage between 12-22 simply put the wire and squeeze the handle. Adjusts for different size gauge automatically. I also like that the jaws are a 1/4" wide so all you have to do is put the end of the wire to the end of the jaw and you get a consistent 1/4" strip every time.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is mine is starting to wear them out. The joint is getting loose and the handles have significant play in them now. That being said I have used them on numerous projects over the last years, probably thousands of wire connections.

I will definitley buy another pair of these and reccomend them to anyone tackling an electircal project that requires more than a handfulf of connections.
