The elevated slide at the bottom of the channel makes windows or doors easy to open and close.
  • Seals out leaks and prevents glass from rattling.

Comments about Double Channel Mate Glass Channel, 13/16"W:

I used this channel on sliding glass windows that are over five feet long and a foot and a half high. They are auto safety glass from the 1980's...Heavy! The channel gripped the glass so tightly we could not slide it. I solved the problem by cutting the lip back somewhat less than 1/64 inch(I can't measure that small). It works fine now and the weather still stays on the proper side of the window. It would be nice if this product was available with a quality peel-and-stick strip on the back. I am installing with a good two-faced tape and so far so good. Time will tell.
