The highlights being the patented contour lock system, allowing it to be a stand alone unit, or locked together with other switches. The 701 also features a control knob which cannot be removed whilst in the ON or OFF position, however, can be removed by switching to an anti-clockwise 45° position. The control knob also features an interchangeable labelling system allowing a full range of applications. Comments about Bep Marine 701 Master Battery Switch:
The switch is used to provide power from the batteries to the helm and resides with the battery switch behind a normally closed door. I am sure the original switch would have lasted another 10 years but a raccoon got in the boat, reached through a molded fishing rod holder, grabbed the #8 size red cable to the helm and pulled out about six feet of it through the rod holder opening and onto the deck. In the process of yanking on the cable, the raccoon broke the switch so had to replace it.
