Comments about Clarion M109 Marine CD Stereo Receiver:

I was told by a friend how great this unit was, so I bought it. I went to the Clarion site and it stated the radio could handle a reasonable amount of water without failing . . . well, that sure was not true!! I left the roll style cover open on the stereo housing (which still had all but the faceplate protected) when we had a storm blow in that rained for about 20 minutes. That was the end of the unit! Flashes AMP GRD every time I try to use it. Have tried to contact customer support, but never was able to get through to anyone. Too bad, really heard Clarion built good marine stereos, but not for my money!!!
